SQL express automated backup not working - please help

Hi there

I have recently installed sql 2012 express

I have read that i can set up automated backups using scripting and task manager

I set up two scripts initally "backupsript.sql" and "delete after 3 days.sql"

Came in this monrning nothing had happened

i pointed to these files in task manager a configured timings.

I checked the script by manually launching the backup script and it goes into SQL management studio - asks to log in and then you have to click execute. Once this is done then the backup is there..

I presume my script is wrong as an automated script as its not stating which progam to use to backup the db?
